PhishDestroy threat report
purecrest-ulrix-solution.com presented itself as the official website of Purecrest Ulrix, an AI trading platform. It targeted people looking to invest crypto or cash through automated trading. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-09-19 and classified it as an impersonation phishing page. The site has been offline since 2026-09-26, and its DNS was still inactive when we checked on 2026-10-19.
The page title, "Purecrest Ulrix | AI Trading Platform | Official Website", is built to convince visitors they have reached the genuine platform rather than a copy. Schemes of this type usually ask visitors to register with their name, email and phone number, then push them to fund an account in crypto or by card. A dashboard then shows invented AI-driven profits to encourage larger deposits. When the victim tries to withdraw, new "fees", "taxes" or verification payments appear, and the money is never returned. Victims lose their deposits and also expose contact details that are often reused for follow-up "recovery" scams.
VirusTotal shows 17 of 89 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-20, a day after our first sighting. The flagging engines include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam project Chong Lua Dao. Independent vendors agreed within about a day. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers were tracking it too, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2025-12-15 through MainReg Inc., about nine months before it surfaced as a phishing page. That gap suggests the domain was registered in advance and activated later. It was hosted on the Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. Its ZeroSSL domain-validated certificate only shows that someone controlled the domain, so the browser padlock said nothing about who ran the site.
If you deposited funds through this site, stop all payments and ignore any request for withdrawal fees or account "unlocking" charges. Report the transfers to your bank, card issuer or exchange right away, and file a report with local police or your national fraud center. If you registered, change any password you reused there and expect phishing calls or emails, including fake fund-recovery offers. Security teams should block the domain and look in proxy and DNS logs for users who visited it, then warn those users directly.
