PhishDestroy threat report
onlineviews-unlockportal.com was a phishing page that imitated TD Bank's Canadian online banking portal. It carried the title "My Accounts | TD Canada Trust" and targeted TD customers. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-08, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
The page copied the look of TD Canada Trust's "My Accounts" area, the screen customers expect after signing in. The domain name, built from words like "online," "views," "unlock" and "portal," fits the usual pretext of a locked or restricted account that the victim must "unlock" through a link in a text or email. Anyone who logged in handed over their online banking credentials. Schemes like this often go on to ask for security answers, card details or one-time codes, which let the attackers take over the account and move money before the victim notices.
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain by 2026-09-01: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Google Safe Browsing, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, Lionic and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but the vendors are independent of one another. Google Safe Browsing classed it as social engineering. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and recognised the TD Bank branding on the page. The domain appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists and is referenced in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Wix.com Ltd. on 2026-08-29, only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a single campaign. It was hosted on 87.120.8.55 in Bulgaria, far from the Canadian bank it imitated. About ten days after registration the site was gone.
If you entered your TD username and password on this page, change your password right away through TD's official app or website, and review your security questions and two-step verification settings. Call TD using the number on your card to report the exposure and ask them to watch for unauthorised transfers or new payees. Check recent transactions, and treat any later call or message asking for a verification code as part of the same attack. Defenders should block the domain and IP 87.120.8.55, and search mail and SMS logs for links to it sent around 2026-08-29 to 2026-09-08.
