Overview

onfixedfloat.com is an impersonation phishing page built around the FixedFloat name, adding an "on" prefix to pass as the real instant crypto exchange. It targets people looking to swap cryptocurrency who may not notice the altered domain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. The site was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Lookalike swap services copy the familiar exchange flow: pick a pair, enter a receiving address, then send coins to a deposit address the site provides. On a fake clone, the deposit address belongs to the operators, so the swapped funds never arrive and the coins sent are gone. Because blockchain transfers are irreversible, victims usually cannot recover the money. Some clones also push a wallet connection, which can expose the connected wallet to malicious requests. The page title shows only the bare domain, which gives no hint that it is not the genuine service.

Evidence

Wallet-security blocklists independently flag the domain. MetaMask and the SEAL community list both carry it alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users should see a warning before the page loads. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the edge IP geolocated to Canada, so the actual origin server is not exposed.

What to do

If you sent crypto to a deposit address on this site, treat those funds as lost. Record the transaction hashes and report them to the real FixedFloat support and to any exchange that received the funds. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals granted during that session, and move assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything unusual. Never enter a seed phrase on any swap site. Reach exchanges only through a saved bookmark. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet and browser warning feeds, and watch for further FixedFloat lookalike registrations.
