PhishDestroy threat report
mmusordrop.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as MUSOR Drop (МУСОР Дроп), a Counter-Strike 2 case-opening and skin-upgrade brand. The doubled "m" in the domain is easy to miss when typed or clicked, and the Russian-language title, "Official Site :: CS2 Cases and Upgrades", shows it is aimed at Russian-speaking CS2 players. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
Fake case-opening sites copy the look of a known brand and push visitors to "log in through Steam" or top up a balance to open cases. A cloned Steam sign-in form can capture the username, password and Steam Guard code, which lets the operators take over the account and trade away its skins and inventory. Any money deposited to open cases or run upgrades goes straight to the operators, and nothing real is ever paid out. Players lose their Steam account, their skin collection, their deposits, or all three.
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but six unrelated vendors reaching the same verdict counts for more than the total suggests. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which affects mail filtering and DNS blocking. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist entry.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-26 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, just 11 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of a site built to imitate a brand and start catching players quickly. The site sits behind Cloudflare, which masks the real origin server, and resolves to Cloudflare's network in Canada.
If you signed in through this site, change your Steam password at once and make sure Steam Guard is active. Check your account for unfamiliar API keys, trade offers, linked devices and changed email or phone details. Deauthorize all other devices from Steam's security settings. If you deposited money, contact your card issuer or payment provider about a chargeback, and do not pay any "fee" the site later asks for to release winnings. Defenders and community moderators should block the domain, filter lookalike MUSOR Drop domains, and warn CS2 trading communities about the misspelled address.
