PhishDestroy threat report
jointbk.com is an impersonation phishing site built to look like an online banking portal. Scanners match it to a generic banking template rather than one named institution. It targets ordinary bank customers who might believe they are signing in to their account. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-07, and it was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Bank impersonation pages copy the look of a real login screen and are usually reached through links in emails or text messages warning about a locked account, a suspicious payment or a required verification. Whatever the victim types, such as username, password, one-time codes, card numbers or security answers, goes straight to the operators. They can then take over the account, move money or sell the details. The page title currently reads "Problem loading page," a browser-style error message, while our classification of the site is impersonation phishing.
On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 6 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count, so many security products will not block the site yet. The flags come from several unrelated vendors, which gives the detection real weight. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to a generic banking brand. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-10-05, just two days before PhishDestroy detected it. A fresh domain turned into a phishing page within days is typical of short-lived credential-harvesting campaigns. It is hosted in the United States on the PONYNET network operated by FranTech Solutions. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered banking credentials on jointbk.com, sign in to your bank through its official app or a saved bookmark and change your password immediately. Change it anywhere else you reused it, and reset or re-enroll two-factor authentication. Call your bank's official number to report possible compromise, ask for card replacement if you typed card details, and review recent transactions for transfers you did not make. Treat any follow-up calls or messages "from the bank" with suspicion. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting address at mail and web gateways, and search logs for users who visited it.
