PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fortds.com is an impersonation phishing site built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with information they would only give the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16, less than two weeks after the domain was created. It is still online with live content as of 2026-10-19, so it remains a working threat.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a known brand, then put a login form, payment step or wallet prompt where the real service would have one. Anything typed there goes straight to the operators, who can take over accounts, reuse the details elsewhere or move funds. The browser tab shows only the title "Loading", with no brand name. We still classify the site as impersonation phishing.

Evidence

On 2026-09-25, six of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many security tools will still let it load without a warning. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, which mail filters that use the list will act on. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-04 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and was already serving phishing content when we found it 12 days later. That short gap fits a domain bought specifically for this campaign. It is hosted in Turkey on a network registered to M/S ROBI TRADERS. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is safe.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it on the real service and on every other account that shares it, then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. Review recent logins and sign out any sessions you don't recognise. If you entered card or bank details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new one created on a clean device. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting address at the DNS, proxy and mail-gateway level, and search their logs for any users who reached it.

Choose the steps that match what you shared. Keep a copy of this report alongside your own records.

Que dois-je faire tout de suite ?

Urgent

Stop using the suspicious site. Open the real service through its official app or an address you already trust.

Keep original emails, receipts, messages and screenshots in a secure place. A factual timeline helps the receiving authority understand what happened. IC3 evidence guidance ↗

  • Payment records — if you paid, save the receipt, amount, date, payment provider and recipient details.

  • Your bank or payment provider — contact its fraud team promptly through official contact details if money or card information was exposed.

A report is not a guarantee of recovery or investigation, but prompt, accurate transaction data can help authorities and service providers trace the incident.

How do phishing scams typically work?

  • Arnaques liées au recouvrement — fraudsters pose as recovery agents and demand upfront fees. Never share a seed phrase or pay before independently verifying the provider

Comment puis-je me protéger à l'avenir ?

About this reportSources, observation dates and corrections

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
