How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and language of a legitimate-seeming service to win trust quickly. The 'unlimited opportunities' headline is classic bait for earning or investment pitches. Visitors are typically pushed to create an account, hand over login details or personal information, and then fund a balance that never becomes withdrawable. What victims lose is whatever they type in or send: credentials that can be reused against their other accounts, identity data, and any money or crypto deposited.
Evidence
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-07: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, including Netcraft, which specializes in phishing takedowns. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have been tracking it independently. PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
PhishDestroy caught the domain the day it was registered, which means it was flagged before it had any history to hide behind. It was registered through OwnRegistrar, Inc. It is hosted on FranTech Solutions in Luxembourg. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the padlock in the browser, but that only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is trustworthy.
What to do
Do not register, log in or deposit anything on faitmix.net. If you entered a password there, change it right away on every service where you reused it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you shared ID documents or card details, alert your bank and watch for identity misuse. If you sent funds, keep the transaction records and report them to your payment provider and to local police. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting address at DNS and proxy level. They should also search mail and web logs for users who visited it.
