PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

exmarkets-thai.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Exness, the online forex and CFD broker, and is aimed at Thai-speaking traders. Its Thai-language title reads "Exness ประเทศไทย | เทรด Forex ทองคำ หุ้น MT4/MT5", which translates to Exness Thailand, trade Forex, gold and stocks on MT4/MT5. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16, the same day the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was online and still serving content.

How the scam works

Fake broker sites copy the branding and trading language of a real broker so that visitors believe they are on an official regional portal. Victims are typically asked to log in or open an account, which hands their broker credentials, email, phone number and sometimes identity documents to the operators. Many such sites then push deposits into a "trading account" that only exists on the fake platform, so any money sent is lost. Mentions of MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) are also used to collect trading-platform logins that can later be used to take over real accounts.

Evidence
