PhishDestroy threat report
deal-hook.com is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a trusted service to win the confidence of crypto users. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-17, eight days after the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-18, and when last checked on 2026-10-19 it was dead, with its content blocked by the provider.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a legitimate brand so visitors believe they are on the real service. They then ask for login credentials or recovery phrases, or prompt the visitor to connect a wallet and sign requests that hand over control of funds. The only title the page displayed was a generic "Loading…" screen with no brand name, but we classified the site as impersonation phishing.
Wallet-security blocklists back the classification: MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet software that checks these feeds will warn users or block the page. VirusTotal coverage was thin. On 2026-09-17 only CRDF flagged it, 1 of 89 engines, so a clean result from most antivirus scanners would have offered visitors no protection.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-09 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com and was caught just over a week later. That short gap between registration and use is typical of disposable phishing domains. Traffic was routed through Cloudflare, Inc., with the address located in Canada, so the origin server stays hidden behind the network. The site used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
If you entered a password on this site, change it on the real service and on any account that reuses it, then turn on app-based 2FA. If you typed a seed phrase or private key, consider that wallet compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet right away. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-management tool. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search logs for any visits since 2026-09-09, and add it to their phishing feeds even though it is currently offline.
