PhishDestroy threat report
coinvectorsmartupsystem.com is a fake crypto exchange that presented itself as "coinvectorsmart up | AI Trading Platform | Official Website". It targeted retail investors drawn in by the promise of automated, AI-driven crypto profits. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-10. The site has been offline since 2026-09-14, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Platforms like this pair an official-looking dashboard with claims of an AI trading engine. Victims are pushed to register and deposit crypto into an account the operators control. The dashboard then shows fabricated gains to encourage larger deposits. When the victim tries to withdraw, the site demands extra fees or taxes, or the account is frozen. Everything deposited is lost, along with any identity documents or personal details submitted during sign-up.
On 2026-09-10, VirusTotal showed 16 of 89 security engines flagging the domain. The vendors that flagged it include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-07-15 through MainReg Inc., less than two months before PhishDestroy flagged it. It was hosted at 185.62.57.222 on the Snel Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. Its TLS certificate was a domain-validated certificate from ZeroSSL GmbH (ZeroSSL ECC DV SSL CA 2). A certificate like this only encrypts the connection and says nothing about who runs the site.
If you deposited funds, stop sending money right away, even if the site or its "support" asks for withdrawal fees. Record transaction hashes, wallet addresses, emails and chat logs, then report the loss to your local police and national fraud or cybercrime agency. If you sent funds through an exchange, contact that exchange quickly in case the funds can be traced or frozen. Change any password you reused on the platform, and watch for follow-up "recovery service" offers, which are a common second scam. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and add it to mail and web filters. Look for similar AI-trading branded domains registered around the same time.
