PhishDestroy threat report
careers-adobe.us is a phishing domain built to pass as an Adobe careers portal. Its browser tab displays nothing but Adobe's own main web address, which makes it look like the official site. It targets job seekers and anyone who trusts the Adobe name enough to sign in or share personal details. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31, and on 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and serving a redirect.
Careers-themed impersonation sites play on the hope of a job offer. Victims usually arrive through a fake recruiter message and land on what looks like an Adobe recruitment page, where they are asked to sign in, upload a CV or complete an application. Everything typed into those forms goes to the operators, including Adobe or email credentials, contact details and identity documents. Because the domain now redirects, its operators can change the destination at any time. A visit today may not show the page earlier victims saw.
On 2026-09-14, six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, so many security tools may still let it through. The specialist sources are firmer. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL under the phishing category, MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-07-21, 41 days before PhishDestroy caught it, a short lead time typical of throwaway phishing domains. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1). The browser padlock therefore only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is really Adobe.
If you entered an Adobe or email password here, change it right away, along with any other account that shares that password. Then turn on two-factor authentication and check for unfamiliar sessions or changed recovery settings. If you sent a CV, ID scans or banking details as part of a hiring process, watch for identity misuse. Treat any follow-up offer, interview request or onboarding payment as suspect, and look for genuine openings only on Adobe's official careers pages. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot.
