buy-trx.icu — Non vérifié. Type d'arnaque : Crypto Scam.
On July 25 2026 the domain buy-trx.icu was observed to host a site with the page title “Home – Emerald Chain”. The site was registered on 21 February 2026 through Web Commerce Communications Limited and uses the Cloudflare authoritative nameservers courtney.ns.cloudflare.com and eric.ns.cloudflare.com. DNS resolution points to the IPv4 address 83.217.208.8, which is announced by AS205775 (NEON CORE NETWORK LLC) and geolocated to Germany. No TLS certificate is presented; HTTP connections are therefore unencrypted. The content was taken offline before the time of analysis, and current HTTP status is unavailable.
Multiple defensive products have flagged the domain. VirusTotal reports three detections out of ninety‑five scanners, and three independent blocklists have listed the domain. It is also blocked by the anti‑phishing services PhishDestroy, MetaMask, and SEAL, indicating that at least some customers have reported malicious activity. The observed page title and the declared scam type “Crypto Scam” suggest that the site was intended to lure victims into a cryptocurrency‑related fraud, possibly by impersonating a project named Emerald Chain. Evidence does not reveal the exact payload or credential‑harvesting mechanisms, and the page content has not been captured.
Consequently, the full scope of the operation remains unclear. Defenders should add 83.217.208.8 and the domain buy-trx.icu to network‑level deny lists, ensure that web‑filtering solutions reference the blocklists that already contain the domain, and monitor for similar Cloudflare‑hosted domains that resolve to the same ASN. Users should be warned not to interact with any unsolicited communications that reference Emerald Chain or request crypto transfers, especially from URLs matching the observed domain pattern. Continuous re‑scan of the domain on VirusTotal and periodic WHOIS checks are recommended to detect any re‑registration attempts.
