Overview

americangirlco.com is a fraudulent storefront presenting itself as "Same Day Flower Delivery Singapore | Florist Singapore", aimed at people ordering flowers and gifts online. The domain name suggests a doll or toy retailer, while the live page sells florist services. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam and first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content.

How the scam works

Fake shops like this copy the look of a real local business, list attractive prices and urgent same-day delivery, and push buyers to checkout quickly. Victims enter their name, address, phone number and card details, pay, and then receive nothing, a cheap substitute, or silence. Flower delivery suits this scheme because orders are time-sensitive and buyers often do not notice the problem until the delivery date has passed. Card details captured at checkout can also be reused for further fraud.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. On VirusTotal, 5 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is low, so many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam. It also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows that other researchers are tracking it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, 46 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway scam storefronts. It resolves to 162.222.90.162, which is located in the US on a network registered to Malakmadze Web LLC in Georgia. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the shop is honest.

What to do

If you paid on this site, contact your bank or card issuer at once to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as proof. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges, and be wary of follow-up calls or messages about your "delivery" that ask for more money or details. For future flower orders, buy from florists you can verify independently through reviews and a real business address. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at the web proxy or DNS level and report it to card networks and payment processors so they can stop it taking payments.
