PhishDestroy threat report
airdrop-kart.com is an airdrop scam: a fake token claim page aimed at crypto wallet users hoping to collect free tokens. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-03, three days after the domain was registered. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14 and was still dead and unreachable when checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake airdrop pages promise a free token allocation and ask visitors to connect a wallet to claim it. The claim step is a trap. The victim is asked to sign a transaction or token approval that gives the attacker permission to move their assets, and tokens or NFTs are then swept from the wallet. Some variants also ask for a seed phrase to verify eligibility, which hands over full control of the wallet. The page title read "Research the route | AirdropKart guide," which presents the site as a guide, while we classify it as a fake airdrop claim page.
On VirusTotal, 12 of 91 engines flagged the domain when checked on 2026-10-06. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-30 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. It resolved to 188.114.97.3 on AS13335 (Cloudflare, Inc.) in the US, which is a proxy network that sits in front of the real origin server. The site used a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1), so a padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was safe.
If you only visited the site, close any related tabs and do not return to links that point to it. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-checking tool right away, and move any remaining assets to a new wallet. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and transfer whatever is left to a wallet with a freshly generated phrase. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet and browser blocklists, and search their logs for users who visited it on or after 2026-10-03.
