How the scam works
The page copies a Dofus news article titled "SONGE IVOIRE - Info - Actualités - DOFUS, le MMORPG stratégique." This gives it the look of a routine game announcement. Sites like this usually lead visitors to a fake login prompt or a lure such as an event reward. Anything typed there, such as the account email, password or security codes, goes straight to the operators. With those details they can take over the account and strip it of characters, items and in-game currency, or resell it.
Evidence
On 2026-10-16, VirusTotal showed 14 of 92 engines flagging the domain, including Criminal IP, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and identified the Dofus brand on it. Spamhaus DBL lists the domain as DBL_PHISH. It appears in 50 AlienVault OTX pulses and is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-11 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu, five days before it was detected. It resolves to 176.123.0.55 on the ALEXHOST SRL network in Moldova. Its TLS certificate comes from Let's Encrypt (YR2), so the padlock icon proves nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered credentials on this site, change your Dofus account password right away through the official site or launcher. Change it anywhere else you reuse it, including the email account linked to your game account, and turn on two-factor authentication. Review recent account activity, and contact Ankama support if items or characters have moved without your consent. If you only visited the page without typing anything, close it and don't come back.
