PhishDestroy threat report
robinhoodterminal.com is an impersonation phishing site that poses as Robinhood. It presents itself as a 'RobinHood AI Terminal — Season 0', a product Robinhood customers and crypto traders might believe is a new launch. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, and its content was reachable behind a protection layer.
The 'Season 0' framing copies the points-and-rewards campaigns common in crypto, where early participants are promised a head start on future rewards. Lures like this push visitors to act quickly, usually by signing in with their trading account or connecting a crypto wallet to 'join' the season. Any login details entered go to the operators, not Robinhood. A wallet connection can be used to request signatures or token approvals that let the attackers move the victim's funds. Robinhood's name and the AI-terminal pitch exist only to make that step feel routine.
Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when checked on 2026-09-29: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a modest share of engines, but it includes crypto-focused and mainstream security vendors that reached the same conclusion independently. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Robinhood branding on it. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-09-15, just two days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap points to a site built for a quick campaign rather than a long-standing project. It runs on Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the United States, which makes the hosting look like ordinary cloud infrastructure.
If you entered Robinhood or email credentials on this site, change those passwords immediately and reset two-factor authentication. Then review your recent account activity and any linked bank or crypto transfers. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the token approvals you granted there and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you approved transfers. Robinhood announces real products through its own app and official channels, never on standalone 'terminal' domains. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and watch for lookalike Robinhood 'terminal' or 'season' domains registered from the same pattern.
