How the scam works
Fraudulent gambling sites like this one usually draw players in with sign-up bonuses, free spins or inflated early wins, then push them to deposit real money or crypto to keep playing. The balance shown on screen is controlled by the operator, so winnings exist only inside the site. When a player tries to cash out, withdrawals are delayed, blocked by sudden "verification" demands, or made conditional on another deposit or fee. The victim loses everything deposited, plus any extra payments made in the hope of releasing a balance that was never real.
Evidence
Four of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is low, so many browsers and security tools will not yet warn visitors. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain, which means other researchers have independently tracked it. PhishDestroy's own blocklist is currently the only listing that names it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-06-04 through Fewmoretaps OU, trading as Trustname.com. It was operating for about three months before we detected it. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the edge address resolving to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden from public view. The redirect behavior means the domain can act as an entry point that passes visitors to wherever the operators currently host the game front end.
What to do
Do not deposit on nolixplay.com. If you already have, do not pay any "withdrawal fee", tax or verification charge, because those payments are the next stage of the scam. If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank about a chargeback. If you paid in crypto, keep the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange you sent from and to local police. Change any password you reused on the site, and be suspicious of follow-up messages offering to recover your funds. Defenders should block the domain and anything it redirects to, and watch for newly registered lookalike gambling domains.
