Overview

This site is a seed phrase theft page built to impersonate Ledger, the popular hardware wallet brand, and trick users into surrendering their wallet recovery phrases. It targets Ledger hardware wallet owners, presenting itself as a help or FAQ resource — the domain name deliberately mimics Ledger support language. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-10-13, and as of 2026-10-19 the site remains alive and reachable.

How the scam works

The page poses as an official Ledger support or FAQ resource, luring victims who are searching for help with their device or account. Once on the page, users are prompted to enter their 12- or 24-word seed phrase under the pretense of verification, recovery, or troubleshooting. Handing over a seed phrase gives attackers complete, permanent control of every asset in the associated wallet — there is no way to reverse transfers once the phrase is compromised. The page title currently returns a 500 Internal Server Error, which may reflect a temporary backend state while the malicious content remains reachable via redirect.

Evidence

Sixteen of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-10-17, with detections from BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, CRDF, and alphaMountain.ai. Urlscan.io independently returned a malicious verdict and attributed the page to the Ledger brand. Spamhaus DBL lists it under the DBL_PHISH category, and PhishDestroy has added it to its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, resolving to an IP in Canada. The TLS certificate was issued by Google Trust Services under the WE1 authority. The site is built on the Typedream app platform, which is reflected directly in the subdomain structure.

If you visited this page but did not enter anything, no immediate action is required beyond avoiding the site in future. If you typed your seed phrase into any field on this page, treat your wallet as fully compromised: move all assets to a new wallet generated on a clean device immediately, and do not reuse the exposed seed phrase under any circumstances. Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase online or through a web form. Security teams and platform defenders should block this domain at the DNS and proxy layer and report it to Typedream for platform-level takedown.
