PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23, and it was still online serving live content as of 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake bridge pages work because bridging requires users to connect a wallet and approve token movements. A visitor who arrives expecting to send stablecoins from TRON to another chain is asked to connect and sign what look like routine bridge steps. A lookalike site can use those same prompts to take the funds being bridged, or to win standing permission over the tokens in the wallet. The TRON-to-150+-chains pitch suits that bait well, since anyone bridging stablecoins already holds a balance worth taking.
Evidence
Four of 91 engines on VirusTotal flag the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a thin margin, so many security tools will still let the site load. Wallet-side protection is stronger. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so MetaMask users should see a warning before connecting. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Tucows Domains Inc. on 2025-10-08, almost a year before PhishDestroy first saw it. That long gap suggests it was registered well in advance and sat unused or quiet before the campaign became visible. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada, so the actual origin server is hidden behind the proxy.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet or sign anything on hyper-lane.co. Reach Hyperlane only through links you have verified yourself. If you already connected and signed, review your wallet's token approvals on every chain you used and revoke any you did not intend to grant, especially on TRON. If you suspect anything beyond an approval was signed, move the remaining stablecoins to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add lookalikes of the Hyperlane name to their monitoring, and report it to Cloudflare so the proxied origin can be traced and taken down.
