How the scam works
Fake hiring platforms borrow a credible brand name and polished recruiting language so that sign-up and login forms feel routine. Employers are pushed to create accounts or log in with work email credentials. Candidates are asked for CVs, contact details and sometimes identity documents. Whatever is typed into these forms goes to the operators. Stolen logins can be reused for account takeover and further phishing, and personal data feeds identity fraud. Some schemes of this type also ask for upfront onboarding, verification or subscription payments, often in crypto, that are never returned.
Evidence
On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 4 of 92 engines flagging the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so most browsers and security tools may not warn visitors yet. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain, which shows other researchers have tracked it independently. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist listing it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-05-25 through Fewmoretaps OU, which trades as Trustname.com. That was roughly three and a half months before we detected it, so the site had plenty of time to look established before drawing attention. It resolves to 75.2.60.5 on Amazon's network in the US. This is shared cloud address space, so the IP alone says little about who runs the site. The Let's Encrypt certificate is free and automated, and its padlock proves nothing about legitimacy.
