Overview

cyberslot.us presented itself as an online slots and casino platform and is classified by PhishDestroy as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at players looking for quick crypto or cash wins. We first detected it on 2026-09-12, only ten days after the domain was created. The site has been offline since 2026-09-30, and as of 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolves.

How the scam works

Fraudulent casino sites like this one typically attract players with oversized welcome bonuses or free spins, then push them to deposit, often in cryptocurrency, to unlock play or claim winnings. The account balance may climb impressively, but it exists only on the operator's screen. When a player tries to cash out, the site invents obstacles such as verification charges, minimum turnover rules or a 'withdrawal fee' that must be paid first. Every payment made is lost, and personal or identity documents submitted for 'KYC' can be reused by the operators.

Evidence

Six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-23: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Seclookup and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but these are independent vendors reaching the same verdict within days of the site's launch. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it separately. PhishDestroy is the blocklist carrying the entry.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-09-02 and was flagged by PhishDestroy within ten days. It went dark about four weeks after registration, a short lifespan typical of disposable gambling fronts that collect deposits and then disappear. The site sat behind Cloudflare, Inc., with the serving address located in Canada, so the visible IP belongs to the proxy network rather than the operator's own server.
