PhishDestroy threat report
cardvendor.cm is a credential phishing page that presents itself as the "Cardvendor — Sign in" portal. It targets people who expect to log in to a card-selling or card-management account. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content redirected visitors onward.
The page copies the look of a sign-in screen, so the visitor types a username and password as they would on any login form. Those credentials go to the operators, who can then take over the real account and anything tied to it, such as stored card balances, payment methods or order history. The .cm ending sits one letter away from .com, which helps a lookalike address pass a quick glance in a link or search result. The redirect seen on 2026-10-19 can pass victims on to further pages in the flow.
Detection is still thin. On 2026-10-19, 5 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Two AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it, so other researchers have tied it to tracked threat activity. Among the major blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists it. Most browsers and filters will therefore not warn a visitor before they reach the login form.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-23 through Netcom.cm Sarl, Cameroon's country-code registrar. It was caught 13 days later, a short gap that fits a throwaway domain set up for one campaign. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the server that actually hosts the page. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the address bar only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.
If you entered a password on cardvendor.cm, change it immediately on the genuine service and on every other site where you reuse it. Then turn on two-factor authentication and sign out all active sessions. Check the account for changed email addresses, new payment methods or orders you did not make, and contact your card issuer if card details were saved there or typed in. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies and search mail and chat logs for links to it. They should also reset credentials for any user who visited it.
