PhishDestroy threat report
bitwizevofortsystem.com presented itself as the official home of "Bitwize Evofort", an AI-driven crypto trading platform, under the page title "Bitwize Evofort | AI Trading Platform | Official Website". PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking to invest through automated trading. We first detected it on 2026-09-10. The site has been offline since 2026-09-14, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
Pages built around names like Bitwize Evofort promise effortless profits from an AI trading bot and push visitors to sign up with their name, email and phone number. Those leads are typically passed to so-called account managers who call victims, persuade them to make an initial deposit, and show fabricated gains on a dashboard to encourage larger transfers. When the victim tries to withdraw, new "taxes", "verification" or "withdrawal fees" appear, and the money already deposited is lost. Victims also hand over personal data that is often reused for follow-up fraud.
On 2026-09-10, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Detections came from vendors including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and G-Data. That breadth across unrelated security vendors makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2025-11-19 through MainReg Inc., roughly ten months before it reached our feeds. A long-held domain can let an operation avoid the scrutiny brand-new registrations attract. It was hosted at 185.62.56.63 on the Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. The site used a free domain-validated ZeroSSL certificate, so its padlock showed only that the connection was encrypted, not that the platform was legitimate.
If you registered on this site, expect calls or messages from "brokers" and do not send further money, especially to cover fees for unlocking a withdrawal. Uninstall any remote-access software they asked you to install. Report your deposits to your bank, card issuer or exchange and to local police. Be wary of anyone who later offers to recover your funds for a fee, because recovery offers are a common second scam. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, check proxy and DNS logs for past visits, and warn users about AI-trading investment pitches using the Bitwize name.
