Overview

ashleystewartcloset.com presents itself as "Hyundai Accessories and Hyundai Parts | Hyundai Shop". It is an impersonation phishing page aimed at Hyundai owners looking for cheap parts and accessories. The domain name points to a clothing-style brand while the page sells Hyundai merchandise, which is a mismatch no genuine dealer would run. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-04, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake brand shops copy a manufacturer's look and catalogue, then list parts at prices well below official dealers to win quick orders. At checkout the visitor hands over a name, delivery address, phone number and payment card details. In this kind of scheme the order usually never arrives, or something worthless is shipped. The card data can be reused or sold, and the contact details feed later scam calls and messages. urlscan.io specifically flagged this site as a fake shop, which fits that pattern.

Evidence

Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from a spread of independent web-filtering and threat-intel vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That short lifespan is typical of throwaway storefronts that run until they are reported. It resolves to 162.222.90.162 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, which is registered in Georgia, while the IP is located in the US.

What to do

Do not place orders here. If you already paid by card, contact your bank to cancel the card and dispute the charge as fraud. Then watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. If you paid by bank transfer or another non-reversible method, report it to your bank and local fraud authorities quickly. Expect follow-up phishing using the address and phone number you entered, and buy Hyundai parts only through official dealers. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and add them to web-filter and email-gateway policies.
