The site was registered on November 19, 2021 through CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. and is hosted on Amazon’s AS16509 network, resolving to the IPv4 address 52.223.52.2 located in the United States. DNS resolution uses four AWS Route 53 name servers (ns-1243.awsdns-27.org, ns-1818.awsdns-35.co.uk, ns-336.awsdns-42.com, ns-792.awsdns). The web server presented a Let's Encrypt certificate (issuer E7) and advertised modern security features including HTTP Strict Transport Security and HTTP/3.
Technology fingerprints identified Framer Sites and a React framework, consistent with a quickly assembled front‑end. The site was classified as a crypto‑scam that impersonates the Coinbase brand, and it appears on a single security blocklist. PhishDestroy has already taken the domain offline, and VirusTotal reports that two of ninety‑five scanning engines flagged the domain as malicious. An HTTP request to the host returned a 404 status, indicating that the landing page is no longer reachable.
While the exact content of the page cannot be verified because the site is offline, the combination of brand‑specific page title, registrar data, hosting on a public cloud, and the presence of a valid TLS certificate suggests a typical brand‑impersonation campaign designed to lure cryptocurrency traders. Defenders should continue to block the domain at perimeter filters, monitor the associated IP address for any re‑use, and add the domain to internal watchlists. Additional scrutiny of traffic to the AWS name servers and the 52.223.52.2 address is advised, as adversaries may repurpose the infrastructure for future campaigns.
