The site web3-excdous.framer.media impersonated the Exodus Wallet brand under the page title "Exodus Web Wallet | Your Secure Web3 Companion." It posed as a cryptocurrency wallet interface, threatening users with credential and asset theft through a fraudulent login or recovery seed phrase prompt.

Technical analysis reveals 17 out of 95 VirusTotal vendors flagged the domain as malicious. It was created on 2021-11-19, registered with CSC Corporate Domains, Inc., hosted on IP 35.71.142.77 (US, AS16509 Amazon.com, Inc.), and used a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate (E7). Its nameservers were AWS DNS servers. The site was flagged by ADMINUSLabs, ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Cluster25, and CRDF, and appeared on 3 blocklists.
