This website, hosted on IPFS via dweb.link, impersonates the legitimate Banana Gun crypto trading platform to trick users into connecting their wallets or entering private keys. Once connected, a crypto drainer script steals funds and NFTs, causing irreversible financial loss. The threat is a targeted crypto drainer, not a generic phishing page, designed to empty victims' wallets.

The domain was created on February 24, 2017, through CSC Corporate Domains, Inc., and uses a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate (E7) to appear legitimate. Security vendor analysis on VirusTotal shows 3 out of 95 vendors flagging the domain as malicious, and it appears on 2 security blocklists. The site resolves to IP 209.94.90.3, but has since been taken offline. PhishDestroy identified the page title "Trade Crypto the Banana Way | Banana Gun" as a clear impersonation of the real Banana Gun platform.

If you visited this site and connected a wallet or entered any seed phrase, immediately transfer remaining assets to a new wallet generated on a secure device. Revoke any token approvals given to suspicious contracts using tools like Revoke.cash. Run a full antivirus scan and enable two-factor authentication on all crypto accounts. Even if you didn't interact, clear your browser cache and avoid reusing passwords near this incident. Stay vigilant against similar IPFS-hosted phishing domains.
