The site masquerades as a cloned Amazon login form with the sole purpose of harvesting usernames and passwords from unwitting visitors. Once credentials are captured, threat actors immediately take over real Amazon accounts to make unauthorized purchases, drain gift cards, and harvest payment data stored in customer profiles. This domain was flagged by 21 of 95 VirusTotal security vendors, is served from IP 216.198.79.67, and is registered through Vercel Inc. Google Safe Browsing lists it under the SOCIAL_ENGINEERING category, designating it as a fake login scam. The SSL certificate is issued by Google Trust Services, a common tactic used by phishers to appear legitimate at a glance.
