payoutgate[.]io
“PayOut Platform”
Resumen de las pruebas
payoutgate.io was registered on March 11, 2026 through NameCheap, Inc. The domain resolves to IP 213.111.149.161, which is assigned to AS6698 Virtual Systems LLC in Ukraine. The authoritative nameservers are dns1.registrar-servers.com and dns2.registrar-servers.com. An active TLS certificate issued by Let’s Encrypt (E7) is present, and the web server stack reports Node.js, Ubuntu, Nginx, Express and the Unpkg CDN. The site returns HTTP 200 and presents the page title “PayOut Platform”. The content is classified as a crypto scam that impersonates the exchange Gate.io. VirusTotal analysis shows five of ninety‑four security vendors flag the domain, and the Gridinsoft trust score is 10 out of 100. The domain appears on one public blocklist and is currently blocked by PhishDestroy. The risk level is high and the domain remains active. Analysis indicates that the infrastructure aligns with typical cryptocurrency‑draining operations: a recently created domain, low‑reputation hosting, and a modest detection rate that may evade some automated filters. The presence of a legitimate TLS certificate does not mitigate the threat, as Let’s Encrypt certificates are freely obtainable. Defenders should add 213.111.149.161 and payoutgate.io to outbound and inbound block lists, monitor DNS queries for the domain, and consider sinkholing the IP range if feasible. Continuous re‑scanning with multi‑engine services is recommended to detect any changes in the detection profile. Organizations that use Gate.io credentials should alert users to the impersonation attempt and advise verification of URLs before any credential entry.
