userverificationcenterportal[.]com
“Domain Default page”
This domain, userverificationcenterportal.com, is identified as a brand impersonation threat designed to deceive users of the Base cryptocurrency platform. The site mimics legitimate Base verification portals to harvest login credentials, private keys, or seed phrases, potentially leading to unauthorized access and asset theft. Users encountering this domain may be tricked into entering sensitive information under the guise of account verification or security updates, which attackers then exploit to drain wallets or hijack accounts. Analysis indicates the domain was registered on November 13, 2025, through Tucows Domains Inc., a registrar commonly used for both legitimate and malicious domains. It resolves to the IP address 188.114.96.3, hosted on Cloudflare’s network (AS13335), which is frequently leveraged to obscure the true origin of malicious infrastructure. At the time of assessment, 17 out of 95 security vendors on VirusTotal flagged the domain as malicious, while one additional blocklist, PhishDestroy, has also listed it. The absence of an SSL certificate further reduces trust, as legitimate financial or crypto-related services universally employ encryption to protect user data. Individuals who visited userverificationcenterportal.com or entered credentials on the site should immediately revoke access to any linked crypto wallets and transfer assets to a new, secure wallet. Change passwords for all associated accounts, particularly those tied to Base or other crypto platforms, and enable multi-factor authentication where available. Monitor financial and transaction histories for unauthorized activity, and report the incident to relevant security teams or fraud reporting platforms. If private keys or seed phrases were exposed, assume the compromised wallet is no longer secure and discontinue its use entirely.
