rainbetonline.kr is an impersonation phishing page that copies Rainbet, a crypto casino brand, and presents itself as its Korean edition. It targets Korean-speaking gamblers, with the page headline offering a "100% match" deposit bonus and 20 free spins. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-15 after its provider blocked the content, and it was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works
The Korean title, "Rainbet 한국 온라인 카지노 | 100% 매칭·20회 무료 스핀", promises a doubled first deposit and free spins under a brand players already recognise. Fake casino fronts like this usually push visitors to sign up, then fund an account with crypto to unlock the bonus. They may also ask for a wallet connection or a login with existing Rainbet credentials. Deposits go straight to the operators, and a promised balance never becomes withdrawable. Victims often hit extra "verification" or "withdrawal" fees before they realise the money is gone.

Evidence
On 2026-10-13, 8 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain malicious: ChainPatrol, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That count looks modest, but the flagging vendors include crypto-focused scanners alongside mainstream antivirus engines. The domain is also listed by MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance, so wallet users get warnings, not just PhishDestroy's own blocklist. Two AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it as well.

Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-05 and caught only four days later. That short timeline is typical of throwaway brand-lookalike sites built to harvest deposits quickly before takedown. The .kr extension and Korean-language page point at a single national audience. Traffic was served through Cloudflare's network, with an address geolocated to Canada, which shows the proxy, not the operators' real server.

What to do
If you deposited crypto on rainbetonline.kr, send nothing further, and ignore any request for fees to release winnings or unlock a withdrawal. Record the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange you sent from. If you reused a Rainbet or exchange password there, change it at once and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted to unfamiliar contracts, and move funds to a fresh wallet if you entered a seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain and watch for new Rainbet-themed .kr and Korean-language lookalikes using the same bonus lure.
