The page presents itself as "Transfer Trust Wallet", a fake transfer screen built to look like an official wallet function. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19, more than seven weeks later. How the scam works Pages like this exploit the familiar steps of moving funds. The visitor is told a transfer, sync or verification is needed, then is asked to type in the wallet's recovery phrase or to connect the wallet and approve a request. A recovery phrase handed over this way lets the operator rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it. An approval or signature can authorize transfers out of the account. Trust Wallet never needs your recovery phrase to send funds, so any page that asks for it is a theft attempt. Evidence On 2026-09-14, 16 of 89 VirusTotal engines classed the address as malicious. Those engines included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar, Ermes and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That is broad agreement across major commercial vendors and specialist scam trackers. ScamSniffer, a crypto-focused blocklist, lists it independently alongside PhishDestroy. Infrastructure The page is a subdomain on Surge.sh, a free static-site publishing service. Its throwaway name, "new-click-app-99", suggests one of many quickly generated deployments rather than a dedicated domain. Traffic resolves to DigitalOcean, LLC infrastructure in the US. The Sectigo DV certificate is the platform's standard HTTPS certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about who runs the page. What to do If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker, and watch for unexpected outgoing transactions. Security teams should block this subdomain, report it to Surge.sh for takedown, and remind users that Trust Wallet transfers happen only inside the official app. Useful links urlscan.io scan and screenshot: https://urlscan.io/result/01a056d6-033e-7004-acf6-8460ae6214bc/ VirusTotal report: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/domain/new-click-app-99.surge.sh Google Safe Browsing status: https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=new-click-app-99.surge.sh Archived copy: https://web.archive.org/web/20260831080553/https://new-click-app-99.surge.sh/ Report phishing to Google: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/ Site owner?
