## Stored PhishDestroy analysis

Overview
micromedia.com.tw is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the Chinese-language title 微傳媒, meaning Micro Media. MetaMask and SEAL have both added it to their blocklists, which puts crypto wallet users squarely among its targets. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-01, and on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page title points to a media outlet, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the name and look of an outlet visitors already recognize. That borrowed familiarity lowers suspicion, so visitors are more willing to type logins, personal details or wallet information into the site, or to approve whatever it asks for. The 微傳媒 branding provides that familiar front. Whatever a visitor enters or approves goes straight to the operators. They can use it to take over accounts or to move funds out of a connected wallet.

Evidence
On 2026-10-03, 10 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors include BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. These are independent engines reaching the same verdict, so this is more than a single outlier. The listings by MetaMask and SEAL matter most for crypto users, because wallet-side warnings fire before a transaction is signed. Two AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.

Infrastructure
The domain was registered through PCHOME on 2026-09-02, about four weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of sites built for a single campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare's network in the US, which hides the server actually hosting the page. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.

What to do
If you typed a password into this page, change it immediately, along with any account that shares the same password. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a crypto wallet or signed anything, use a token-approval checker to revoke permissions you don't recognize. If you can't rule out that the wallet's secret recovery phrase was exposed, move your assets to a new wallet. Never give a seed phrase to any website. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and report it to Cloudflare so the content can be taken down.
