## Stored PhishDestroy analysis

Overview
kombijdhl.nl is a DHL impersonation phishing page dressed up as a recruitment portal titled "Werken bij DHL Supply Chain" (Working at DHL Supply Chain). The Dutch-language title and .nl domain point at job seekers in the Netherlands who would expect to apply for logistics work with DHL. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-09-04, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works
Fake careers pages use a trusted employer's name to make an application form feel routine. Victims who believe they are applying to DHL Supply Chain are typically asked for full name, address, phone number, date of birth, copies of ID documents and bank details "for payroll." That information feeds identity fraud, account takeovers and follow-up scams. Some recruitment schemes also push applicants to pay for training, equipment or onboarding fees, or to install messaging apps for an "interview." DHL does not run its hiring through this domain.

Evidence
On 2026-09-12, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious or phishing, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That spread across independent vendors shows the verdict does not rest on a single feed. The domain also appears in 50 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well. Besides PhishDestroy, no other blocklist covers it yet.

Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2023-01-16 through Combell, more than three and a half years before PhishDestroy detected it. An older registration can help a phishing site look established and slip past filters that treat new domains with suspicion. It is hosted in the Netherlands at 94.126.66.40, which matches the Dutch audience it targets. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the page a padlock in the browser, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It does not show that DHL runs the site.

What to do
If you submitted an application here, assume your personal data is exposed. Contact your bank if you shared account details, and report any ID document copies to the issuing authority and the police so misuse can be flagged. Ignore follow-up calls, emails or chat messages about this "vacancy" and never pay any fee to get a job. Check genuine DHL openings only through DHL's official careers channels. Defenders should block the domain at the DNS and proxy level, watch mail logs for recruitment lures that mention DHL Supply Chain, and report the site to DHL's brand protection team and the hosting provider.
