## Stored PhishDestroy analysis

Overview
PhishDestroy’s intake system added kmspicos-download.vip to its blocklist on 2026-10-23 after an admin report noted the domain was only 21 days old and an AI model assigned a high phishing confidence. The prior AI assessment observed the recorded page title “KMSpico Download for Windows & Office | KMS Tests [2026]” and reasoned that offering the KMSpico activator is commonly linked to malware distribution. The page excerpt “KMSpico Download for Windows & Office” was recorded as present on the site. An HTTP 200 response was recorded on the same date, confirming the page was reachable at that time. The domain is now listed internally as malicious.

How the scam works
Illicit activation tools such as KMSpico claim to provide free activation for Microsoft Windows and Office by prompting users to download and run an executable. The downloaded file often bundles adware, trojans or other unwanted software that can compromise the host system. Victims may also be tricked into revealing system credentials or granting elevated privileges, enabling further compromise.

Evidence
VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-03 and reported two detections out of 92 engines, with Fortinet and alphaMountain.ai labeling it as spam. Google Safe Browsing checked on 2026-10-23 and did not flag the site. URLScan captured the page on 2026-10-01 and gave an overall clean verdict, but its machine‑learning engine assigned a malicious score of 93 and a malicious tag.
