On 2026-10-19 the site was still online, and the address now redirects elsewhere.

How the scam works
Courier impersonation scams usually start with an SMS or email claiming a DHL package is on hold over an unpaid customs charge, a missing address or a failed delivery attempt. The link leads to a page that copies DHL's branding, here localized for Japan, so the request feels routine. Victims are then asked for their name, address, phone number and card details to pay a small "redelivery" or "duty" fee. The fee is only the bait. The real loss is the full card data, which is used or sold for larger fraudulent charges, along with personal details that feed follow-up scams.

Evidence
On 2026-09-12, 8 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, VIPRE and Webroot. That count is modest, so many browsers and filters may still let the page load. urlscan.io rated it malicious and detected DHL branding on the page, which independently confirms the impersonation.
