How the scam works Exchange impersonation relies on a familiar name and a convincing address. Visitors who believe they are on Bitstamp are prompted to log in. Their email, password and one-time 2FA codes are captured and replayed against the real account to empty it. Variants of this scheme also push victims to deposit crypto or connect a wallet, and anything sent is lost. The page title currently reads "FASTPANEL", the name of a server control panel, while we classify the domain as Bitstamp impersonation phishing.
