It lures marketers with promises of maximizing ad performance, then tries to steal Facebook credentials, payment methods, or install malicious extensions. Once on the page, any login attempt is intercepted by a fake form that harvests usernames, passwords, and even two-factor codes. The attackers then hijack ad accounts to run unauthorized campaigns that drain budgets or spread further scams.
