Filters the table to TXT, SPF and DMARC: SPF and DMARC policies are published as TXT records, which is where email authentication checks look.

## FAQ

### Which record types matter when checking a phishing domain?

A and AAAA show where the site is hosted, NS shows the DNS provider, MX shows who receives its mail, and TXT holds SPF and DMARC policies. A CNAME can reveal the hosting platform behind a subdomain.

### Is the table complete?

No, it lists 18 common entries; types such as HTTPS, SVCB and CERT are missing. The separate SPF record type is obsolete (publish SPF in TXT), and DMARC is not a record type at all but a TXT record at _dmarc.example.com.

### Does this page query DNS?

No, it is a static reference and nothing leaves your browser. To see a domain's live records, use DNS over HTTPS Lookup.
